What sets you apart from all of the other photographers?
For me, whether it be a wedding, portraits, or an event…my camera and my passion for people allows me to connect with you in an incredible way. I love meeting you, getting to know you, and providing you with a personalized and fun experience uniquely catered to you. I absolutely love my clients and am dedicated to serving you, supporting you during your wedding, and capturing what is most important to you.
One thing my clients say again and again after their wedding, is "thank you for listening to what was special to us".
What is your photographic style?
At Muschlitz Photography LLC, it's not just about creating strong images. It's about connecting with people, learning about them, and visually telling their stories through my work.
I'm the perfect balance of classic photography and true photojournalism: capturing the moments you expect and the ones that you will never want to forget. I focus on capturing authentic interactions between people and things as they happen. I love to photograph laughter, tears of joy, and warm embraces. Maybe it's my background in photojournalism that has me looking for things on the sidelines that you might otherwise miss. Or maybe it's just my love for people that has me attuned to looking for those little special moments.
My style is a large part of telling the your story of your life and the ones you love. Everyone has a story: The story of loved ones, "I Do's", the pitter patter of little feet, family, graduation, and the people and moments that are important to you. We capture people's lives, candidly, authentically, and visually. Because why just "tell it" when you can "show it"?

Do you take traditional family photos at the wedding too?
Absolutely! In fact, I believe that family photos are one of the most important parts of the wedding day- It's not every day that both sides of the family will be together at the same time. The family portraits are a small part of the day, but one I wouldn't want to miss!
Will we receive the digital images?
Yes, every package includes a USB flash drive of the high resolution digital images. While I do offer printing services, the USB comes with a reprint and web release so you have the ability to make your own prints and share them online.
When will I get to see my wedding photos?
Your wedding photos will typically be available for viewing within 5-6 weeks of your wedding date.
How far should we book in advance?
Most couples typically book at least 6-12 months in advance, or as soon as you have the date and venue. Occasionally I am able to accept weddings on shorter notice. Please contact me for availability.
How many weddings do you book a year?
Muschlitz Photography currently photographs between 20-25 weddings a year to better serve my clients and provide each client with the time and attention they deserve.
Do you travel?
While I am based in Columbus, Ohio, I am happy to travel anywhere within the state.
