Nicole + Joe

St. Matthews Catholic Church | Creekside Event & Conference Center
I'm so happy to find some time to catch up and blog about some of my favorite summer weddings and portrait sessions!
Nicole and Joe had a beautiful and "green" wedding earlier this summer! The pair first connected through their love and commitment to the environment at an EPA conference promoting sustainability. They exchanged their vows this summer at St. Matthews Catholic Church and the reception followed at Creekside Event and Conference Center, both in Gahanna. It was so sweet to see how in love the couple was. At the ceremony after Nicole's father her down the aisle and gave her hand to Joe, Joe snuck in a quick kiss before the two joined hands and walked up to the alter. It was such a pleasure to capture all the special little moments of their day. :-)
Their wedding featured many green elements such as organic flowers, a trolley as evening transportation for the wedding party and guests, and composting and recycling at the reception. All the elements came together perfectly to result in a beautiful and eco friendly day. After the ceremony, we ventured downtown to the Scioto Mile and then over to Gahanna's Creekside Park for some portraits. The reception that followed was full of dancing and fun. I'm so excited to share some of my favorite images from their day below! Congrats Nicole and Joe!
