Family and Pet Holiday Portraits

It seems like just yesterday I photographed Amie and Nathaniel's wedding in February! It's hard to believe they'll be celebrating their 1 year anniversary in just a couple months. :-) (Congrats you two!) I was really touched when Amie contacted me to request some family photos of her, Nathaniel, and their pet dog Zoey. This was a very special portrait session for so many reasons. Nathaniel is currently deployed while serving in the Navy, but we wanted to make sure that we included him in the photos. (Thank you for your service Nathaniel!) Amie had blown up some images of him that we used during their session to make sure he was in the images. She is so thoughtful and wanted to gift some photos from the session to him while he is overseas and also use some for her Christmas cards this year. This was also Zoey's first photo session and we had a lot of fun working with her to capture some of her personality. I can't wait for next year when Nathaniel will be home to enjoy the holidays and we can capture all three of them together in person! :-)
